AWAKENER

"Awakener" means those who awaken before others. Within Oculus Principi, it refers to people who can sync with GenLink and acquire special powers.

After syncing, Awakeners are reborn with new abilities fueled by Source. However, GenSphere also acts as a second heart for them, so they constantly need more Sources to keep it going. As a result, Awakeners must rely on the Oculus Principi, participating in trials or missions to keep their Source levels up.

OCULUS PRINCIPI

Evolution is the key to unlocking the future, and it's the Oculus Principi, with its broader perspective, that carries this important mission.

Oculus Principi was an organization established by the first Awakener among humans. They're a secretive, massive organization, with their influence quietly affecting the entire world. They've inherited ancient human technology and have a deeper understanding of how to use Source, developing tech that's ahead of its time. They see Awakeners as the next step in human evolution. Everything they do, including Project Novita, is all about achieving that ultimate goal...

HELIX VITALIS

Ever since the sparks of civilization began to glow, humanity has set a relentless pace of exploring the unknowns. Bit by bit, they have uncovered the mysteries surrounding the ancient Aeternums scattered throughout the planet.

First among them was the Aeternum in Nordhelden, long before it received its present moniker—Helix Vitalis. It was buried underground, exposing only the kaleidoscopic Helix Core that enraptured the imagination. People quickly built the Aeternum Research Complex around the Core, gathering the best scientific minds around the world to study it. But humanity was unaware that an unprecedented challenge was silently approaching...

PALE BLIGHT

On the crumbling, distorted land, gray-white waves sweep across, devouring everything.

To most people, the Pale Blight is just a disaster from the Transfigured Aeternum, but there's a hidden truth behind it. The Oculus Principi secretly activated the Aeternum in Vastas to collect enough Sources for Project Novita, but they didn't expect it to cause such a huge disaster. As soon as the Aeternum activated, the Helix Vitalis erupted from the ground, with its core rising and its roots spreading out, greedily absorbing everything around it. Anything it drains turns gray and decays, eventually becoming part of the Pale Blight. As long as the Helix Vitalis' core keeps drawing energy and converting it into Source, the Pale Blight will keep spreading, like human greed that never stops.

AIRENA

In the disaster's core, a forbidden zone unreachable by most, a trial of evolution is unfolding.

Unlike the land ravaged by the Pale Blight, the area around the Aeternum Research Complex has been lifted into the air by the ever-expanding Helix Vitalis, forming several Airenas that display all sorts of strange sights within the cycle of the Helix Vitalis. To uncover the secrets of the Helix Vitalis and enhance Awakeners' GenSync level, the Oculus Principi took control of the Airena and regularly sent Awakeners there for combat trials. This is where the journey of Awakeners begins.
